Technology moves forward whether we like it or not. Technofatalism is the view that many technological changes are inevitable, and that our energy is better spent adapting to them than denying them.

AI, automation, ubiquitous surveillance, and the loss of informational privacy are not distant possibilities—they are realities in progress. The question is not whether these changes will happen, but how we choose to live with them.
